About

The Rock Church of Victor Valley was birthed in 2009 by the vision of Bishop Don Conner and Pastor Bryan Axtell. It began as a Friendship Group with a few people gathering each week. The group continued to grow as more people gathered for prayer, teaching and fellowship.

In 2010, the growing number of people began to gather once a month for worship at the Green Tree Hotel in Victorville. Shortly after, The Rock Church was approved by the United Pentecostal Church International as a home missions work.

Our name was changed to The Rock Church of the High Desert in 2015 to better reflect our vision.

Today, The Rock Church of the High Desert intends to preach the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ to our local High Desert community. As despair consumes, we aim to bring His light to all and inspire hope.
